Setting up a complex care service for non-psychotic patients
About This Event
What is it about?
Are you looking to set up a complex care community mental health service for non-psychotic patients? Or perhaps you are already providing such a service but looking to progress and learn from an innovative and pioneering service in this field. Workshop leader Dr Rachel Gibbons is a Consultant Psychiatrist in a Complex Care Team (CCT), a new and innovative style of CMHT that brings together psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy to enable and treat patients with all non-psychotic difficulties. Rachel will guide you through a series of practical sessions which will give you a unique insight into setting up and delivering a complex care service, as well as providing a host of new ideas and strategies for you to start implementing in your service straight away.
Why should you attend?
As well as hearing from the workshop leader, there will be many opportunities for delegates to share their own experiences, and to work out exactly how the experiences of the workshop leader and other delegates can be adapted and used to improve their own service. You will leave armed with new ideas and strategies, not necessarily in terms of a big and expensive service redesign, but small and cost-effective ideas that will make a big difference.
Key learning outcomes
- Get practical advice on how to develop and deliver a complex care community service that engages this patient group
