Why Should You Attend:

This 4 hour course explores the unique challenges associated with smaller entities when designing, building and/or assessing a risk management program and associated system of internal control.

Practical implementation solutions that will allow management to effectively assess and mitigate risk as well as strengthen the internal control environment while requiring minimal cost, resources and time will be outlined. A business case for the necessity of an ERM program as well as benefits and implementation challenges will be presented.

Attendees will learn how to utilize any existing system of financial control as a platform for the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management program. The speaker will offer implementation options and considerations which will allow participants to consider appropriate solutions for their organization.
