Myanmar has abundance of natural oil & gas resources especially in the offshore areas. With three main large offshore oil and gas fields and 19 onshore ones, Myanmar has attracted dozens of foreign oil companies to make investments which can be represented by Total, Chevron, PPT, PTTEPI, DAEWOO, Gail, ONGC,KOGAS,CNPC,PCML and so on.
Following the positive political climate and the easing of sanctions by western countries, 2013 is definitely the year of booming for Myanmar’s offshore E&P sectors.
