About This Event

The International Society for Neonatal Screening (ISNS) holds every 3 years an international symposium jointly with one of the ISNS regional symposia. In 2016 this combined symposium will be held in The Hague, the Netherlands on topics related to newborn screening for metabolic, endocrine and other inborn disorders.

The next edition will take place from September 11-14, 2016 in The Hague, the Netherlands.

On behalf of ISNS Dr. J.Gerard Loeber it is our pleasure to welcome you in The Hague for "The 9th ISNS International Symposium, jointly with the 10th ISNS European Regional Meeting", coined as “ISNS2016”.

Since ISNS had its first public activity with a conference in 1991, 2016 will be the 25th anniversary celebration. To highlight this, the theme of the symposium will be
"ISNS silver jubilee: 25 years of sharing knowledge globally".

ISNS vision: ISNS is recognized worldwide for its contributions to the detection of neonatal conditions and the prevention of their adverse outcomes through excellence in neonatal screening.
ISNS mission: To enhance the quality of testing and medical services through dissemination of information, guidelines and best practices that benefit all family members and their babies by helping to ensure protection of babies from life-quality threatening conditions.
