Learn from successful engagement experiences to improve graduate readiness

Employability is a crucial and topical issue for tertiary educators. Producing graduates who are adequately skilled and work-ready is the key to enhancing graduate employment rates and overall competitiveness in the sector. Employability is a front of mind issue and is resonating from the very top of management.

Engagement with industry is a critical factor in enhancing graduate employability. It can take multiple forms, from identifying skilled labour needs and shaping course development to guest lecturers and work integrated learning opportunities. Strong partnerships with industry are an invaluable tool to improve teaching and learning and graduate readiness.

This conference will assess how tertiary educators and employers can collaborate more effectively together to improve the employment outcomes of graduates.
