About This Event

This training will help you understand the concept of workplace bullying. You will understand the similarities and differences between illegal harassment with legal workplace bullying & how to handle them. Attendees will learn tools for managing bullying at work.

Why Should You Attend:
Bullying is about psychological power and thus traditional conflict resolution strategies are inappropriate, and have proven to make the situation worse in many cases. The distinction and overlap between illegal harassment and bullying can make protocol for handling these situations confusing, and without appropriate measures in place you can get into legal trouble. Further, bullying happens because of organizational culture – it is under the radar and not illegal so it spreads quietly like a cancer among your employees – making ending bullying effectively a difficult feat. Corrective action and sustainable change requires a focus on building a positive workplace.
This webinar will explain what workplace bullying means and the behaviors it entails. It will also provide tools for corrective action, and for preventative sustainable change. At the end of the webinar, the speaker answer your specific questions related to this topic.
