II Congress of the Latin American Association of Sport, Physical Education and Dance
About This Event
The Asociacion Latinoamericana de Ciencias del Deporte, Educacion Fisica y Danza (ALCIDED), is an international association dedicated to the promotion, dissemination and practical application of the results and findings in the field of the Physical Education for the benefit of society.
ALCIDED 2015 Congress in Brazil, with the theme “Sports Science, Physical Education and Dance in Latin America”, brings participants from different places of the world with the purpose of strengthening the representation of Latin American research in the global scenarios. ALCIDED 2015 Congress is also an opportunity for integration of professional and students from Latin American countries.
During ALCIDED 2015 Congress distinguished speakers will talk about varied and contemporary themes, providing moments of reflection, learning, and discussion on various issues related to physical education, sports and dance. It will be a great opportunities to exchange information, cooperation and integration among Brazilian and foreign congress attendees.
Created in 2012 as a result of discussions presented during the 20th International Congress of Physical Education, Sport and Applied Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), ALCIDED is concerned with the development, exchange and dissemination of research produced in Latin America in order to reach world representativeness.
The goal of the II Congress of the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Ciencias del Deporte, Educacion Fisica y Danza, that will take place in Brazil, at Juiz de Fora, is first of all, to boost research activity. Secondly, it is to train and qualify Latin-American en Europeans participants by providing interesting academic discussions and produce new knowledge on the field of sport, physical education and dance.
As a continuation of the work started in Mexico in October 2013, when the first Congress took place, this meeting will prioritize and strengthen Latin-American presence in international scientific events.
From September 12 through 14th, 2015, the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, together with the Research Group on Inclusion, Movement and Distance Learning (Núcleo de Pesquisa, Movimento e Ensino à Distância – NGIME) will be in charge of organizing and hosting this event. The University will welcome researchers, professors, students who have been developing investigations on the field in their respective educational institutions and scientific groups from diverse parts of the world.
