FT Cyber Security Summit USA
About This Event
Building on the success of last year's event, the 2016 Summit will cover the latest developments in cyber crime and the risks to businesses. Speakers will explain how they are trying to manage those risks – through the deployment of advanced security strategies, tools and techniques, and with official assistance from government departments and other public sector organizations – but with only limited success. Attendees will discover what businesses are doing to develop and implement new and improved cyber security strategies, and gear from federal and state officials what they are doing to combat cyber crime in the public and private sectors.
The Summit will be chaired and moderated by senior Financial Times journalists who have been keeping readers informed about the battles being waged in cyberspace. To encourage an open exchange of ideas and frank discussion, some of the presentations and panel sessions may be held under the Chatham House Rule* and will be clearly indicated as such on the agenda.
"When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatman House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity not the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed." Source: Chatham House.
