Export Compliance, Technology Transfer and Security Essentials
About This Event
Instructor: David Ross
How to comply with today's Rapidly Changing Export Control Regulations and Secure Your Products, People and Technology. With the Export Control Reform initiative well underway, the Commerce Control List is growing larger by the month, bringing in many items formerly on the United States Munitions List. As such, the regulations have not only changed but increased in scope substantially.
Today's exporters must not only familiarize themselves with export compliance basics but must also know how to protect and secure their technology or "know how" for the design, development, production, use, maintenance or repair of their products. Much of the technology is tied into the increase in the size and scope of the CCL. Finally, exporters must understand how to secure their technology (controlled technology) so that it is not transferred intentionally or un-intentionally to a foreign national illegally. This webinar will cover the areas of export compliance, technology transfer and security.
