EuroCyber Conference, Rome May 2018
About This Event
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is set to take effect May 25, 2018 and with it comes a host of changes to personal data protection laws. GDPR aims to ensure that those processing personal data are doing so in a way that is consistent with what they said they were going to use the data for, that they are keeping the data safe, don’t keep it for longer than is needed and that the person whom the data is about, retains control over the data.
This full day discussion will focus on how companies can efficiently implement and comply with GDPR, understanding the consequences of non-compliance, as well as discussing how companies based outside of the EU who do business within the EU will be affected by GDPR.
Engage with heads of technology, security, law, risk, governance, and audit and compliance experts on the reframing of cyber security through the lens of GDPR; including its impact on multinational companies in the United States.
Discover how cybersecurity experts are planning how to best approach GDPR compliance in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.
Apply the latest and best known practices known to companies seeking to effectively implement GDPR.
