Developing an Effective Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Strategy

This webinar will help you to develop and implement a cost-effective, yet practical strategy, for Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring consistent with prevailing standards of practice. You will learn how to select the appropriate sampling and analytical methods for your IH monitoring plan.

This webinar starts with the foundational concepts of dose and exposure pathways. It uses this basic knowledge along with chemical inventory lists and safety data sheets required under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR Part 1910.1200) to identify IH monitoring needs. The health hazard evaluation process is introduced as a means of prioritizing these IH monitoring needs so that an IH monitoring plan can be developed and implemented. This prioritized IH monitoring plan can then be used to identify specific sampling and monitoring needs.

Webinar participants will learn how to match an IH monitoring plan sampling need to the appropriate sampling and analytical method. IH monitoring does not end after sample collection, however.
