Decarb Heat Forum - European Forum for a decarbonised heating sector

At this year’s event, we will discuss the necessary decarbonisation of the energy system, in particular the heating sector. Presentations will highlight the need for systems integration and the contribution potential of heat pumps in this challenge. As IRENA analysis, such as the REmap roadmaps, so rightly highlights addressing the end-use sectors is a priority and renewable heat a key part of the solution. It would be great to start the
event with your insights in this context.

Other topics to be covered are:

• The state of development of Europe’s heating and cooling strategy.
• New business models for prosumers and industry.
• role of heat pumps for cities in Europe and existing investment possibilities.
• Market development in Europe and selected markets

The event will gather representatives of the sustainable/renewable energy sector, Commission officials and national energy key players. After last year’s successful event, we expect more than 200 people to attend.
