Continuing Education Credit
Colorado Foundation for Medical Care (CFMC) hosts an online activity evaluation system, certificate and outcomes measurement process. Following the activity, you must link to CFMC’s online site (link below) to complete the evaluation form in order to receive your certificate of credit. Once the evaluation form is complete and submitted, you will be automatically sent a copy of your certificate via email. Please note, participants must attend the entire activity to receive all types of credit. Continuing Education evaluation and request for certificates will be accepted up to 60 days post activity date. CFMC will keep a record of attendance on file for 6 years.

Goal/Purpose
The goal here is to impart to billers, management and Providers the complexity and scope of the CPT manual using actual examples from each section. In addition, this course is a great introduction and review for medical coders. It does not require any prior knowledge of coding or billing. The take-away here is a solid foundation of CPT coding concepts with specific examples and how they relate to the bigger picture of compliance, accuracy and reimbursement

Jeffrey Restuccio CPC, CPC-H, MBA, is the principal owner of Ritecode.com and supervises chart audits, carrier denial analysis and all coding and billing training. Jeff has also assisted in medical practice software selection and implementation.
Jeff has over 20 years experience in providing a full range of services to health care providers. Jeff started his career selling and implementing computer-based medical software systems. He supervises training, conversion and quality control.

Other areas of expertise include market research studies for Minor Emergency Medical Clinic placement and profitability analysis for a major hospital group. His technical knowledge is extensive. Before forming his own company, Jeff spent 15 years working for Digital Equipment, CompuServe and A T & T. Jeff has a BA in Psychology from West Virginia University and an MBA from the University of Memphis.
