About This Event

This year's SEACUBE workshop focuses on modeling behavior and interaction in ubiquitous computing environments and its usage for intention analysis, strategy synthesis and evaluation methods for context-aware applications deployed in this environments. This implies that different approaches for intention recognition, strategy synthesis and evaluation will be discussed as well as the way in which they can be improved with the help of behavior and interaction models. The one-day workshop provides a stage for interesting presentations, demonstrations and for fostering contacts between experienced, as well as young researchers. Beside that, an extensive discussion will take place to discuss the two topics:

  1. “What are the requirements for a unified modeling approach for exploiting knowledge of user behavior in smart environments?”.
  2. “How to make use of behavior and interaction models in order to improve intention analysis, strategy synthesis and evaluation methods in smart environments?”.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Behaviour and interaction models for ubiquitous computing environments,
  • Applications of those models,
  • Intention analysis and strategy synthesis for ubiquitous computing environments,
  • Evaluation methods for ubiquitous computing environments,
  • Integration of behavior and interaction models into intention analysis, strategy synthesis and evaluation methods for ubiquitous computing environments.
