The 22nd Annual Amazing Newborns Conference titled, Little Bugs, Big Hearts: Infectious Diseases of the Newborn and Congenital Heart Disease in the Newborn presents a well-balanced agenda that explores current issues surrounding neonatal care with a focus on infectious diseases and neonatal congenital heart diseases. In addition, STABLE and NRP will be taught at this year's conference.
The goal of the conference is to provide evidence-based education to healthcare professionals through didactic lectures, panel discussions and hands-on workshops. The objective is to provide the most current information and research to improve the overall health of mothers and their infants throughout New Mexico.
Conference Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference, the participant should be able to:
- Understand common pathogens in early onset sepsis
- Understand complications related to congenital infections
- Understand the physiology of congenital heart disease
- Understand the treatment options for congenital heart disease
