12th International Symposium on Persistent and Toxic Substances
About This Event
The International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances (ISPTS) series aims to provide a platform for scientists working on PTS around the globe to discuss and exchange information on the most recent findings, innovative theories, frameworks, and methodologies in PTS research. The symposium will cover interdisciplinary topics of significance, ranging from analytical chemistry and the characterization of PTS to environmental and eco-toxicology.
Building on the great success of the eleven ISPTS held annually since 2004, the 12th ISPTS will be held at the University of California Riverside campus in Southern California on 15-17 November, 2015. It will be co-organized by the following partners: UC Riverside Department of Environmental Sciences, UC Riverside Environmental Toxicology Graduate Program, and the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The ISPTS-2015 will provide a valuable opportunity for environmental scientists and students from around the world to interact and exchange research ideas and contribute to a global understanding of PTS.
