Symposium Overview Phase separation is emerging as a common biophysical basis underlying many important cellular functions. Originally scheduled in June 2020 the symposium of our DFG-funded Research Unit FOR2625 "Mechanisms of Lysosomal Homeostasis" had to be postponed twice due to the coronavirus outbreak as most scientific meetings worldwide.
