This conference was planned to be a meeting of different areas in mathematics, hoping to promote exchange of ideas within researchers at different stages of their careers and PhD students. It is called "Winter Meeting in Lisbon-Mathematics and Applications" and is organized by Maria Manuel Torres and Nicolas Van Goethem (both members of the Maths Department of the Faculty of Sciences of University of Lisbon).
