COURSE HIGHLIGHTS- Practicing radiologists and radiologists-in-training will be provided with current information on the imaging diagnosis and management of breast and gynecologic disease
- A multidisciplinary approach will be utilized, with speakers from breast and gynecologic surgery, as well as discussion of breast pathology and breast imaging
- The didactic component of the course will focus on standard practices and core knowledge of imaging interpretation, while emphasizing emerging techniques and current controversies in breast and pelvic imaging
COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Examine the role of ultrasound and MRI in the evaluation of gynecologic emergencies and pelvic floor disorders to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient management
- Determine the key imaging characteristics of ovarian and endometrial malignancies, including the latest O-RADS guidelines, to improve early detection and treatment planning
- Assess emerging breast imaging techniques, including cryoablation and supplemental screening for dense breasts, to optimize diagnostic strategies in various patient populations
- Explore the utility of contrast-enhanced mammography and multimodality imaging in diagnosing and managing both common and rare breast diseases
- Review recent advancements in breast and gynecologic imaging, including artificial intelligence applications and interdisciplinary approaches, to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes
