Conference Description:

We are excited to announce the launch of the 3rd International Online Conference on Toxins (IOCT 2025). The conference, organized by the MDPI open-access journal Toxins (ISSN: 2072-6651; Impact Factor: 3.9), will be held online from 10 to 12 September 2025.

Building on the success of our previous online conferences, we will continue this year but with a new addition to our program. In addition to the Best Oral Presentation Award and the Best Poster Award, the IOCT 2025 conference is proud to introduce the Young Investigator Award. This award is designed to honor and encourage the outstanding achievements of young researchers in toxins research. We warmly welcome submissions from young investigators for this special category.

There will be six areas of focus at IOCT 2025, providing ample opportunities for the written and oral presentation of new, exciting studies in toxinology.

The main topics and sessions of the conference are as follows:

1. Plant, Animal, Insect and Microbial Toxins: New Developments;
2. Novel Insights on The Mechanism of Action and/or Pathophysiology of Toxins;
3. Use of Toxins as Tools for Research, Drug Discovery, and Therapeutics;
4. Impact of Toxins on Public Health;
5. Impact of Toxins on Agriculture;
6. Foodborne Toxins.
