Conference Description:
The EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI) is a flagship and top-tier conference in BHI with participation from academia, industry, clinical medicine, and government worldwide to contribute groundbreaking basic methodologies, emerging technologies, and translational implementation. BHI has been organized in Shenzhen China, Valentia Spain, Las Vegas USA, Orlando USA, Chicago USA, Ioannina Greece, Pittsburgh USA, Houston USA, and the BHI2025 will take place in Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA during the last week of October 26 – 29, 2025. The pre-conference day (October 26, 2025) is dedicated to break-out special sessions, workshops, and tutorials on the latest emerging topics. The 3-day conference will have a single plenary session. Also, BHI2025 will provide rich opportunities for students and trainees, including a career fair, career panel, and dedicated event to meet BHI leaders.BHI2025 invites submissions of papers in 3 main categories:
8 – page Full Length manuscripts that, if accepted, will be published in BHI2025 Special Issue of Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and will be scheduled for oral presentation in the main track of BHI2025;
4 – page Conference-Length manuscripts (can go up to 7 pages without overlength fee) that, if accepted, will appear in Open Access as preprints and also will be published in IEEE Xplore;
1 – page Extended Abstract submissions that, if accepted, will be given the opportunity to present the latest research in a rapid-fire presentation and a poster session.
The BHI2025 scope covers multimodality data collection by novel sensors, imaging, omics, public and global health surveillance, robots, drug discovery, immunotherapy, and multiple other biomedical technologies; data transmission (security, encryption); data visualization; data analysis by signal processing and machine learning; advanced AI such as Generative AI and Cognitive AI for large range of biomedical and health technologies and applications, including Metaverse, Digital Health, Bioinformatics, Electronic Health Records, Human-Computer Interaction, Telemedicine, Public Health, Aging, Infectious Diseases, Chronic Conditions, and so on under the six big categories of informatics:
