The Persian Language and Literature Section at the University of Bucharest is pleased to announce its inaugural conference, “Bridging Past, Present, and Future”, dedicated to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Persian Language and Literature Section and honoring its founder, Professor Viorel Bageacu (1936-2015).We invite scholars and researchers to submit abstracts for papers in all subfields of Iranian Studies, exploring the connections between the past, present, and future. The conference will cover a broad spectrum of topics, including philology, literature and linguistics, history and archaeology, history of religion and history of art, architecture, philosophy, and anthropology.
