Conference Description:

The Archival Congress is intended to present and discuss the urgent tasks of the contemporary society – ensuring the preservation and study of cultural and historical heritage, preserving historical memory, popularizing historical and documentary heritage, improving the culture of working with archival documents, familiarizing with archival work and presenting the experience of accumulating data on regional, national and universal history.

We invite archivists and scientists of academic institutions, universities, employees of museums and libraries, representatives of archival service of Russia and abroad to register for the Third Archival Congress and join us in person or virtually. For those who are not able to join us in person plenary sessions, keynote speeches, sections (selectively) and round tables (selectively) will be broadcast live.

Participants of the Congress are kindly asked to submit an application through a special form by May 15, 2023 https://regforms.spbu.ru/ru /?option=com_rsform&view=rsform&formId=1 847.
The Program Committee reserves the right to select applications and will inform the participants about its decision additionally.
Participation in the conference involves payment of the registration fee: 1500 rubles for citizens of Russia, CIS countries, 50 euros for foreign participants. Employees of archives and winners of the All-Russian competition of the research projects are exempt from paying the registration fee. Travel and accommodation expenses are borne by the participants themselves.
