Illinois Extension invites farmers to learn more about Precision Conservation Management and Carbon Markets on February 24th from 9 am to noon at the Holiday Inn in Rock Island.

Learn about the economics of nitrogen application, tillage practices and cover crops from by University of Illinois Farm Management Professor Gary Schnitkey. Then get the background on carbon markets, their economics and the policy environment that led to carbon market opportunities from agricultural economist Sarah Sellers.
