Conference Description:

29th International Metallurgical and Materials Conference is a traditional meeting of metallurgists, material engineers, managers and other participants.

The conference will be opened by the plenary session with the appearance of significant speakers focused on research and applications of metallurgy and materials. Conference abstracts will be accepted into six theme sessions and poster session: Session A - Advanced Iron, Cast Iron and Steelmaking; Session B - Metal Forming; Session C - Steel Products – properties; Session D - Modern Trends in Surface Engineering; Session E - Non-Ferrous Metals and Alloys; Session F - Economics and Management of Metallurgical Production.

As part of the poster session the Best Poster Contest will be announced. The first three winners and five honorable mentions will be awarded. The proceedings are sent for indexing in the databases Web of Science and Scopus. An opportunity to become acquainted with the results of research and development in metallurgy and materials in the Czech Republic and abroad as well as with concrete applications and to meet the world's leading scientists working on metallurgy and materials have participants of the 29th international conference METAL 2020.
