12th International Conference on Optics, Photonics & Lasers, a symposia being conducted by Conference Series LLC Ltd., A company which has given a vast contribution to the world in terms of organising several Conferences, having a manifesto involving highly qualified people from all around the world to share a vast knowledge by taking an active part in the presentations, talks, workshops and exhibitions. In the same manner 12th International Conference on Optics, Photonics & Lasers will be a perfect place to have a glimpse on this technology which is becoming more prominent these days.

In this regard Euro Optics 2019 Conference invites all the participants across the globe to attend the 12th International Conference on Optics, Photonics & Lasers during June 17-18, 2019, at London, UK.

Optical Imaging and Sensing

Optical Imaging is the method in which light is being used to get the investigational imaging of the medical operations. Basically, optical imaging is of two types which are diffusive Imaging systems and ballistic imaging system. Some of the main examples are scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, optical coherence tomography, optical microscopy and endoscopy, spectroscopy.

Optoelectronics

It is the technology which involves the electronic device application to the sourcing, detection and control of light. This technology encloses the design, manufacture and study of electronic hardware devices which as a result translates electricity into photon signals. This is being used in many fields like in medical equipment, telecommunications and for general science. Some of the examples are Fibre optic technology for telecommunication and X-ray machines in hospitals.

Laser and Nonlinear Optics

These are the part of optics which deals with several kinds of optical nonlinearities (nonlinear crystal materials or optical fibres are some examples). This also involves the study of phenomenon which takes place as the consequence of the changes in the optical properties of a material system in the presence of light.

Optical Technologies

This was the introduction of the new technology which involves effective working of the devices by adopting the use of electromagnetic waves for the long distance communications using radios. Also, the light waves are shorter than the radio waves. The older methods of working which involved the use of mechanical methods were minimised and use of these electronics came into the world which gave a better than the other one.

Optics in Astronomy and Astrophysics

Optics in astronomy includes active and adaptive optics whose applications in astronomy have become common these days. Wave front sensors are being used by most of the largest ground-based telescopes in order to analyse the distortion of signals by the atmosphere and the use of deformable mirrors as wave front modulators in order to compensate these effects. These techniques have influenced the use of telescopes and other instruments in space in order to improve the quality of resolution of the planetary-exploration and earth-observing satellites.

Surface Enhanced Spectroscopy

This is the type of technique which helps in enhancing the scattering by molecules absorbed on rough metal surfaces. This technique is basically used to detect single molecules.10^10 to 10^11, which is sufficient to allow the single molecule detection using this process. Some of the metals which are used are gold and silver and the preparation of the surface can be done using metallic coating of a Nano-structured substrate, electrochemical roughening and through the deposition of metallic nanoparticles.

Optical Fibre

These are the fibres which are very flexible and very transparent too. These are basically made of silica glass which is drawn into these fibres. These fibres are a bit thicker than the thickness of the human hair. The main purpose of these optical fibres is to transmit important information from one place to another and has a great influence on fibre-optic communications. These optical fibres are better than those of electrical cables because the information is being transmitted to larger distances and with higher bandwidth.

Latest Technology in Photonics and Lasers

This is the technology which involves optics, fibre optics, cutting edge usage of lasers and electro optical devices in many fields like health care, agriculture, home care, defence, manufacturing, aerospace, homeland security and many other. These specialized applications of this technology are all because of this highly mono-chromaticity and coherency and the ability to reach high powers.

Industrial Applications of Laser and Photonics

Lasers and Photonics are being used for many uses which involves different fields for instance we consider defence, hospitals, manufacturing unit and etc. where these technologies are being used in order to do several activities like welding, laser treatment, cutting respectively. These are source of energy which consists of extra ordinary properties. This process involves the usage of highly powered lasers.

Nano and Quantum Sciences

Nano and Quantum Science is the study of materials and their structures at a very small (Nano) level which would help in giving an idea about the properties of the material and sometimes it’s structural representation in a very clear manner. These Nano sized structures were already existed before scientists have studied about the in the real life at their laboratories. Some of the live examples of these Nano materials would be DNA, scales of the wings of butterflies and peacock feathers.

Quantum Optics

It is the field in which investigates the phenomenon of light and its interactions with the matter at microscopic level by using semi-classical and quantum-mechanical physic. In this process the light which is also known as photons interact with the other molecules and atoms, which include study of the properties of photons. In quantum mechanics photons are been used to test many of the predictions like teleporting and entanglement.

Optical Communications and Networking

Optical Communication is a type of communication in which the information from one place to another is being transmitted through light which carries the information. This phenomenon can be seen in the electronic devices. The whole system consists of a transmitter and a receiver where the transmitter transmits the information in the form of optical signal by encoding the message. This signal will be carried till the destination thus; the receiver will receive it and decodes it in the form of the actual message. Whereas optical networking is same as optical communication but the only difference is that the transmitted information will be sent among the various nodes of telecommunications network.

Laser Systems

A laser system is a system which undergoes a process called optical amplification in order to emit light in such a way that the whole laser is made to be focused on a particular spot in order to have some applications such as laser cutting and lithography. Lasers can also have high temporal coherence which can allow it to emit a very narrow spectrum of light which means that they emit a single light.

Applied Industrial Optics

The modern manufacturing is being boosted by the effective use of optics, which has improved the manufacturing capacity. These optical equipment let the light pass through the optical fibres to get images and making it possible to inspect a part or to use the same image to guide the tool in such a way that it work properly on the work piece. The images of the surface topology are being compared to that of the original images which were captured and stored into the database to ensure the proper fabrication of the component.

Fibre Laser Technology

A fibre laser is a type of lasers having optical fibre as gain media. Also in some lasers which are having a semiconductor optical amplifier and a fibre resonator called as fibre lasers. In maximum number cases the gain medium is a fibre inhibited with earth ions such as thulium, neodymium, erbium, yttrium, or praseodymium, and several coupled laser diodes are being used for pumping.

Photonics

It is the part of physical science which deals with the generation, controlling and detection of light waves and photons using several phenomena’s like generation, detection and manipulation through various processes like transmission, emission, signal processing, modulation, amplification, switching and sensing. These photonics helps in exploring a wider range of wavelengths from gamma to radio and also x-rays , UV rays and infrared rays.

Lasers in Medicines

In recent days the variety of lasers which are being used in the medicinal filed for several applications are getting increased. Their use has been increasing in the medicinal field is being spurred because of the technology and the better understanding of the laser light with the living tissue. These lasers can do many things like reshaping corneas, pulverizing gallstones, killing tumours and reaming arteries.
