On Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July the infamous Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast will be a hive of excitement as the Ultimate Strongman Masters World Championship returns for 2018.

Held over two action packed days, the legends of Strongman will once again battle it out for the 2018 World Championship title. 2018 sees four-time World's Strongest Man, and reigning Masters World Champion, Zydrunas Savickas return to defend his title, whilst former Champions, Mark Felix and Vidas Blekaitis, are set to challenge Savickas, alongside the USA's Nick Best and Russia's Mikhail Koklyaev, who are making their first appearance in the competition.

Throughout the weekend competitors will be required to undertake three epic challenges - a truck pull, super yoke and a car deadlift. Spectators will be on the edge of their seats as - whilst the winners of Groups A and B will automatically go through to the final - the next four athletes will be required to go head to head in a sudden death eliminator! Only the top three getting a place in the eight-man final.

Five-time European Strongest Man title holder and producer of Ultimate Strongman events, Glenn Ross, will be hosting throughout.
The larger than life star, better known by his nickname 'The Daddy', commented:
