Conference Description:

Do you know someone living with a mental health condition? Would you like to know how to recognise and cope with signs and symptoms in yourself, family members, friends and colleagues?

On this course you will learn about the signs & symptoms and the treatment and management of stress, anxiety, depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and borderline personality disorder. You will learn about some of the things that can cause mental health problems or make them worse and ways in which you may be able to promote positive mental health in yourself and others.
There will be some activities that will help to give you an insight into how it may feel to experience mental health difficulties and the effect it can have on someones life.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be 18 or over to attend this training.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the even
There is a small car park available, should this become full there is a pay & display car park within 1 minutes walk from the venue. Ashford (Surrey) train station and bus stops are located within 5-6 minutes walk from the venue.

Will there be refreshments?
Tea & coffee will be available throughout the day. Feel free to bring your own lunch or there is a Tesco Express, Subway and KFC within 1 minutes walk from the venue.

Is there wheelchair access?
The training room is located up a flight of stairs and there is no lift. If you are unable to climb stairs and you would like to attend the training please let us know and we will try to arrange an alternative room, subject to availability at the venue.

What's the refund policy?
You will recieve a full refund providing that you cancel 21 days or more before the day of the event. If you wish to cancel within 21 days we will be unable to provide any refund.
