Conference Description:

SPE Workshop on Petrophysics will cover digital and machine technologies. Participants will have an opportunity to share their experience on digital analysis and petrophysical smart tools development.

This year the SPE Workshop on Petrophysics will cover digital and machine technologies. The participants will have an opportunity to share their experience on digital analysis and petrophysical smart tools development for timesaving, analysis efficiency improvement, big heterogeneous data management and saving time for decision making, a generalization of results and development of new approaches to the interpretation of complex reservoirs and hard-to-recover reserves evaluation.

The following topics are to be discussed:
- Innovative Methods of Core Analysis.
- Complex Reservoirs Evaluation.
- Interpretation of Special Production Logging Methods.
- Production Logging Data Interpretation in Horizontal Wells.
- Rock Physics and Geomechanics. Projects.
- Modern Production Logging Methods: Reservoir Management and Well Integrity Study.

The workshop will also include such topics as:

- LECTURE "Laboratory "Digital core" Integrated Products for Oil and Gas Industry", V. Shklover, Systems for Microscopy and Analysis (Skolkovo).

- LECTURE "Information Architecture of Modern Petrophysical Service", S. Polushkin, Salym Petroleum Development.

The technical programme will be split into the following sessions:

SESSION 1: Automation and digitalization of petrophysics problems.
SESSION 2: Advanced methods of core sampling and core analysis.
SESSION 3: Complex petrophysical projects.
SESSION 4: Complex and unconventional reservoirs/ Special well logging techniques.
SESSION 5: Rock physics and geomechanics.
SESSION 6: Production logging.
