Conference Description:

On November 8 & 9, the annual conference Brave New World will take place again at the Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden.
International scientists, entrepreneurs, authors and artists will discuss, together with the audience, what the possible consequences of rapidly emerging, new technologies for society could be. This based on questions such as - What is the future of warfare? Why do we trust technology? Where does man end and does the machine start? What is the future of mortality?

A few of the distinguished speakers the conference has welcomed at previous editions: Neil Harbisson, Lucy Mcrae, Luciano Floridi, Nathaniel Raymond, Jim Stolze, Ben Hammersley and Rachel Armstrong.
