Conference Description:
IOTOD is a key event in the European addictions calendar, providing key, practice-level education to over 300 international clinicians. GPs, psychiatrists, nurses and specialists across a number of areas (from addiction to hepatology) attend this 2-day meeting to receive practically focused and highly interactive education from an international faculty on a range of topics including: considerations for optimising pharmacotherapy, integrating psychosocial interventions, eliminating HCV and tackling opioid overdose. This year aims to examine new opportunities to adapt treatment in order to treat the multiple aspects of opioid dependence, through a number of case-based workshops, plenary sessions, panels and audience participation. Highlights of this year's meeting include innovative interactive sessions, including a developing case study throughout the meeting. The popular complex case study clinic will be featured, during which delegates will be invited to share difficult patient challenges for discussion with the expert panel and audience.
Continuing from last year, our traditional 'Commitments to change' will now be interspersed throughout the conference. This provides our delegates with numerous opportunities to vote on which of the conference's key learnings they will take forward into their own clinical practice.
Sponsorship/exhibition opportunities are also available, please get in touch.
